Program Description

Event Details

Censorship in America has been going on for centuries. In the 20th Century, books were "banned", and movies deemed too obscene were edited. Television would not show a married couple in bed and news programs came under attack. There may be a freedom of speech provision in the United States Constitution, but groups have tried to shut that down for decades.  This program is both in-person in the library and live streaming via Zoom.  Register is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calendar to receive the Zoom Link (Don't forget to give us your email address).
