Enter the beauty of painting en plein air, the French term for painting outdoors. The practice surged in the 1800s with the dawn of portable paint tubes and easels. As you listen to painter and teacher Eric Alexander Santoli’s lecture on the history and joy of working en plein air, you’ll find yourself inspired to take up this relaxing activity, too!
