Emily Brontë's only novel, a classic English tale of destructive passion, revenge, and social class, set on the wild Yorkshire moors and published in 1847. The story centers on the turbulent, obsessive love between the foundling Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw, whose choices and betrayals reverberate across generations, leaving a legacy of heartbreak and conflict between their families, the Earnshaws and Lintons, at the estates of Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange.
