Program Description

Event Details

Get ready to be a scientist!  Students will get hands on with an instructor in dissecting a pumpkin and learning about its parts.  Students will also learn what germination is (seeds growing without soil) and how to germinate a pumpkin seed.  As a craft- we will paint mini-pumpkins to take home (along with their pumpkin seed ready for germination).

Registration is required for this event.  Registration opens for Mahwah library cardholders four weeks before the date of the event.  If you don't have a card, visit the Library to sign up today.  Our neighbors are welcome to register two weeks before the event.
