Children in Grades K-3 can join the Engineering Design Workshop Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Ms. Kerry, the owner of the Learning Exchange will teach the "young engineers" the basics of the Engineering Design Process in a fun, creative, and hands-on manner. This workshop will introduce an engineering-related problem for the children to solve by building a working model called a prototype. Our April session will focus on Recycling Day. Get ready to imagine yourself as a Materials Engineer designing, creating, building, and testing your prototypes! No experience is necessary.
A parent or guardian must accompany children during this event.
Registration is required for this event. Registration opens for Mahwah library cardholders four weeks before the date of the event. If you don't have a card, visit the Library to sign up today. Our neighbors are welcome to register two weeks before the event.
