Event Details

An introduction to the Egyptian galleries of the Metropolitan Museum of Art that will guide you from the banks of the Nile to tombs and temples. Discover Ancient Egyptian culture and art through sculpture, jewelry, mummies, and actual Egyptian buildings.  Norris holds a bachelor's of arts degree in the classics from the University of California at San Diego, and a master's of arts degree in the classics and a doctoral degree in art history from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He spent 20 years at the Met Cloisters museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and has lectured all over the world.   This program is both in person in the library and live streaming via Zoom.  Registration is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calendar to receive the Zoom Link (Don't forget to give us your email address).
