The early days of TV were dominated by men on the small screen but a surprising number of women (unusual for its time, the late 1940s and early 1950s) left a mark. Betty White was the last woman standing of a group that included Gertrude Berg, Hazel Scott, Dagmar, Faye Emerson, Martha Rountree, and Lucille Ball.   This program is both in person in the library and live streaming via Zoom.  Register is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calendar to receive the Zoom Link (Don't forget to give us your email address).
