Program Description

Event Details

Come learn how AI is transforming archaeology by significantly expanding researchers’ ability to discover, analyze, and interpret the past. We'll discuss how AI, using technologies like satellite imaging and LiDAR scanning, can help archaeologists identify hidden cities and ancient structures buried beneath forests, deserts, and modern landscapes. We'll aso dive into how AI can also help archaeologists reconstruct broken artifacts through 3D modeling, decipher ancient languages by recognizing linguistic patterns, and analyze massive scientific datasets such as ancient DNA and environmental records, and so much more!
