Event Details

Today is the day! Our butterflies emerged from their chrysalides on Tuesday the 18th (congratulations to all who predicted their birthday correctly) and we will be releasing them outside to live their lives in nature. We are releasing them early in the day to allow them to find food and shelter before the temperature gets too high, but if you can't attend in-person don't worry - we'll be live-streaming the release on the library's Instagram feed (@mahwahlibrary). Thank you to all of our wonderful patrons of all ages who visited our butterflies during their journey.
