Event Details
This fall (10/19/22--3/5/23), the Whitney Museum of American Art will be showing an important exhibit Edward Hopper's New York. The city of New York was Edward Hopper's home for nearly six decades, a period that spans his entire mature career and coincides with a historic time of urban development. Edward Hopper's New York will take a comprehensive look at Hopper's life and works through his city pictures. Artist and Art Educator Sue Altman will be discussing his life, his works, and his legacy. This program is both in person in the library and live streaming via Zoom. Registration is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calendar (Don’t forget to give us your email address). Registration will close 24 hours before the event. We will send everyone the Zoom meeting number, password, and URL meeting link at that time. You can join us in person or on Zoom.
