Program Description

Event Details

Imagine this–you’re an astronaut (or, more precisely, an egg-stronaut) trying to make a safe landing on a newly discovered planet. You have a Ziploc bag, an egg, and tokens which you can exchange for materials to cushion your egg’s landing. Working in pairs, you will spend your tokens on the materials you think will carry your egg to safety. After stuffing your bag, we’ll test whose egg will survive the drop one by one! This challenge begins with a short overview of physics principles to aid participants before diving headfirst into the challenge.
