The workshop series continues with Ukrainian Egg Decorating. The instructor is Patty Wiszuk-DeAngelo award winning artist whose decorated egg was displayed at the White House and is now part of the White House Museum. She was featured on “Unwrapped” on the Food Network. She has over 20 years experience as a working artist and teacher. She is first prize winner in the Emuzine Magazine 2000 Contest, featured artist in the August 2000 issue of Eggsculptor Magazine, and author of articles on the art of psysanky. Patty Wiszuk-DeAngelo has had an article published in The Psyanka Magazine. All attendees at the three hours workshop will get hands on experience and decorate their own egg with materials provided by the instructor. Attendees will learn division of the egg, drawing of designs, use of kistka, techniques of wax and resist method, dyeing process, technique of drilling egg, removing wax , and finishing methods. This workshop is open to all adults. Registration is necessary at the Circulation Desk beginning March 1st. Registration ends at 12:30PM on April 8th.  Space is limited to 25 participants. Age: Adults and Teens (12 years and up when accompanying an adult). There will be a $25 non refundable supply fee that must be paid at the time of registration. The workshop will be cancelled and the supply fee will be refunded if there are too few pre-registered participants.
