Celebrate President’s Day with the man who began it all. George Washington was certainly central to The Revolutionary War. In many ways, so was New Jersey . This lecture looks at both George Washington’s military career starting in 1754 as a 21 year old major in the Virginia militia, and a history of the Revolutionary War including the military battles and winter encampments in New Jersey. This program is both in person in the library and live streaming via Zoom.
