Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate President’s Day with the man who began it all.  George Washington was certainly central to The Revolutionary War. In many ways, so was New Jersey .  This lecture looks at both George Washington’s military career starting in 1754 as a 21 year old major in the Virginia militia, and a history of the Revolutionary War including the military battles and winter encampments in New Jersey.  This program is both in person in the library and live streaming via Zoom.  Register is necessary on mahwahlibrary.org events calendar to receive the Zoom Link (Don't forget to give us your email address).
