Bio
Richard Stillman is an actor, musician, singer, storyteller, and tap dancer who plays over 15 instruments, including banjo, mandolin, and bagpipes. His show, The Spirit of Vaudeville, won Best Concert at the United Solo Theater Festival. Richard appeared on PBS's Shining Time Station and received praise for his performances in Lady Be Good at the Kennedy Center and Hamlet with Rip Torn. On Broadway, he played the Clerk of Oxford in Canterbury Tales. He also performs original folk music, storytelling, and dance in shows like The Irish Balladeer and Pecos Bill Rides the Oregon Trail. Richard leads his own Dixieland, Bluegrass, and Irish bands and teaches all his crafts.

Concert Seating Etiquette
Seating for concert events will begin at 1:30PM for registered and checked-in guests. Waitlisted individuals and walk-ins will be admitted starting at 1:45PM, if seating is still available. Concerts will begin promptly at 2PM, at which time the doors will be closed. Latecomers will be seated during a break in the program so as not to interrupt the performance.

Registration is required for this event. Registration opens for Mahwah library cardholders four weeks before the date of the event. If you don't have a card, visit the Library to sign up today. Our neighbors are welcome to register two weeks before the event.
