Event Details
In this course, participants will learn the basics of babysitting. Topics covered are how to start their babysitting business, what to bring with them to a babysitting job, rules to keep themselves and the children they are taking care of safe, basic childcare practices like feeding and diapering, and how to choose age-appropriate activities. *Please note that this course does not instruct how to perform CPR or administer first aid. If a participant wants to continue becoming a certified sitter, the Red Cross offers basic first aid and CPR courses throughout the year.
