Program Description

Event Details

“Checkmate!" If you want to say that exact word come to the Mahwah Public Library and join our fun chess club for teens!  Teens in grades 5 and up will meet every Friday from 3:30 - 4:30 PM to play open chess, and teach each other some new skills and strategies.  A basic knowledge of chess is encouraged but not required.  The chess sets will be provided, and walk-ins will be accommodated if space allows.

Registration is required for this event.  Registration opens for Mahwah library cardholders four weeks before the date of the event.  If you don't have a card, visit the Library to sign up today.  Our neighbors are welcome to register two weeks before the event.
