The Modernistics Trio (Ted Powers, vocals, tap-dance and guitar; Peter H. Bloom, flute; and Dave Zox on double-bass) captivates audiences with vibrant shows from The Great American Songbook – festive music from the 1920s, 30s, 40s and beyond.  Their Gershwin show features songs, tap-dance numbers, and jazz instrumentals like Slap that Bass, I Got Rhythm, Nice Work If You Can Get It, I’ve Got a Crush on You, A Foggy Day, Stairway to Paradise, and other classics by George and Ira Gershwin.
