Event Details
The appealing sound of The Bob Wylde Quartet centers around soft and swinging jazz. The group has performed in the New Jersey area for the past three years at various venues including restaurants, libraries, nature conservancies and senior centers. The quartet is led by Jazz guitarist Bob Wylde, Mike Richmond on bass, Eliot Zigmund on the drums and Frank Noviello as featured vocalist.
Wylde has collaborated with many diverse artists, including Marty Elkins, Jed Levy and Thomson Kneeland. Bassist Richmond, a 30-year veteran of Stan Getz’s band, has been involved in some of jazz's most impressive projects. He participated in the Miles Davis and Quincy Jones' collaborative concert in Montreux, Switzerland, which became Davis' final performance. He subsequently replaced Charles Mingus in the Mingus Dynasty.
