Ole! Find yourself transported to Spain! Las Alegrias Flamenco is here to present an exciting program of traditional flamenco and Spanish dance music in honor of Hispanic Heritage month. Be enchanted by the flash of flamenco skirts, the thrilling sound of castanets, and the captivating rhythms from southern Spain and Latin America. Flamenco dancer, Eva Conti Alegria, will be accompanied by guitarist Ivan Max, percussionist Rex Benincasa, and vocalist Yuka Koyama. Registration is required on the library website, priority given to Mahwah residents with a Mahwah Library card. Mahwah residents may register starting 4 weeks prior to the event; non-Mahwah residents may register starting 2 weeks prior to the event.
We strongly recommending everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask or other face covering while in the Library, including attending events.
