Event Details
The Hobart Trio, a distinguished chamber ensemble-in-residence at William Paterson University, was founded in 2015. The trio frequently graces both academic and community concert series with its performances. Its members—Kathleen Butler-Hopkins on violin, Joseph Kimura on cello, and Soyeon Park on piano—are not only accomplished musicians but also esteemed faculty at WPU. Each member has a rich history of solo and orchestral performances, having appeared on National Public Radio and on stages across Europe and the United States. Their impressive credits include performances with the Arctic Chamber Orchestra in Alaska, the Opera Orchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall, and even on Broadway.
