Felix Cabrera is a New York City based singer, harmonicist, songwriter and arranger whose career has spanned 6 decades going back to 1968. Felix and his bands have opened up for such blues and R&B luminaries as James Brown (7 times!), Wilson Pickett, Dr. John, Bobby Blue Bland, Jr. Walker and many many others... he also has played with a variety of acts that included Honey Boy Edwards and Marty Balin.
Singer/Harmonica player Felix Cabrera and guitarist Arthur Neilson have played together for 48 years . Arthur with the different bands that Felix has led in NYC and Felix who, besides his own bands was one of the vocalists in Jimmy Vivino’s Black Italians. Arthur has been Shemekia Copeland’s guitarist for the last 25 years.
